The Education Foundation of Hudson, in collaboration with Hudson High School, is inviting nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award. This award aims to honor past graduates of the Hudson School District who have demonstrated exceptional qualities.
According to the foundation, "the purpose of the Hudson High School Distinguished Alumni Award is to provide inspirational role models for students, to provide recognition for past graduates, and to promote a legacy of community pride." The award recognizes alumni who have made significant contributions in their field, community, and society. These individuals exemplify "qualities of character, citizenship, and service that form the foundation of a democratic and humane society."
Recipients are honored with a plaque on the "Wall of Fame" at Hudson High School. This serves as a permanent display for students, parents, and the community. In addition to this public recognition, honorees receive a personal memento.
To be eligible for nomination, candidates must have graduated from Hudson High School at least 15 years before induction. The awards are presented during the school's graduation ceremony. Nominations must be submitted by January 31st for consideration in this year's selection process.
