The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's swimming and diving teams continued their participation in the Rochester Invite on Friday. Ben Keller, a senior from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, secured his second victory at the event by winning the 400-yard individual medley. Keller completed the race in 3:58.89, defeating several NCAA Division II swimmers and was the only participant to finish under four minutes.
Other notable performances included Ian Olson and Zhander Rowley, who finished third and fourth respectively in the men's 100-yard breaststroke. Kadin Denner took fourth place in the men's 400-yard IM, while Blake Wallen also secured a fourth-place finish on the men's three-meter diving board.
In women's events, Molly Hosack placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle, with the team also achieving fourth place in the women's 200-yard freestyle relay. Currently, UW-Eau Claire's men are positioned third overall in team standings, while the women hold fourth place.
The competition will conclude on Saturday, December 7th, with preliminaries starting at 9:30 a.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m.
