The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's basketball team secured a 77-71 victory against Crown College on Wednesday, extending their winning streak to four games. The game took place in Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota.

UW-Eau Claire (5-3) maintained the lead throughout the match, although Crown (4-2) remained competitive until the end. The Blugolds started strong with an 8-3 run, featuring three-pointers from Andre Renta and Carter Huschka. They led by eight points in the first half and held a 31-24 advantage at halftime.

In the second half, UW-Eau Claire extended their lead to 20 points after outscoring Crown 25-12 in the first eight and a half minutes. This put them ahead 55-35 with just over eleven minutes remaining. However, a scoring drought allowed Crown to narrow the gap with a 25-9 run, reducing UW-Eau Claire's lead to three points with just over four minutes left.

Despite this challenge, UW-Eau Claire managed to secure their win by finishing with a 7-4 run. Andre Renta led the Blugolds with a game-high of 23 points. Cade Hall achieved his fourth consecutive double-double by scoring 13 points and securing 16 rebounds.

Michael Casper and Carter Huschka each contributed 13 points for UW-Eau Claire. Huschka also added seven rebounds to his performance. Overall, the Blugolds shot 45% from the field and converted twelve out of sixteen free throws.

Looking ahead, UW-Eau Claire will host UW-Superior on Saturday, December 7th at the Sonnentag Event Center. The game will start at 3 p.m., preceded by a ceremony honoring legendary coach Ken Anderson for his induction into the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame.
