UW-Eau Claire men's tennis secures dual victories ahead of season finale

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's tennis team achieved a double victory on Friday at the Duluth Indoor Sports Center. The Blugolds defeated St. Scholastica and UW-Superior, each with a score of 6-3, which sets a positive tone for their upcoming season finale.

In the match against St. Scholastica, UW-Eau Claire secured two doubles wins and four singles victories. They continued their success by winning all doubles matches against UW-Superior and adding three singles triumphs.

Otto Schluter remained undefeated in his two singles matches in the No. 4 flight, securing victories with scores of 7-5, 6-2 and 6-3, 6-3. The doubles team consisting of Demetri Bush and Hunter Roseth claimed victory in both matches at No. 1 doubles. Similarly, Andrew Mueller and Ethan Wurtzel succeeded in their No. 3 doubles matches.

The Blugolds are set to conclude their season with a dual at Carleton College on Saturday, April 27, with the match scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
