The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) has announced the NCAA Division III PING All-Region honorees, recognizing outstanding golfers across seven regions. Nick Amtmann from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has been named to the Region 6 team for his exceptional performance during the 2024 season.
Amtmann, a junior from Nashotah, Wisconsin, had an impressive season with four top-5 finishes. He secured individual wins at both the WIAC Championship and the Bethel University Spring Quad. His performance was highlighted by tying and then breaking school records for lowest scores during these tournaments. At the WIAC Championships, he tied a school record with a round of 66 and subsequently broke it with an 18-hole score of 63 at the Bethel Quad.
Amtmann concluded the year ranked third regionally and maintained an average of 72.9 strokes per round. His individual record stood at 689-188-25.
