Six student-athletes from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's tennis teams have been awarded College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors for the 2023-24 season. This recognition highlights their achievements both on the court and in their academic pursuits.
The women's team saw four players honored: Téa Armstrong, a junior from Blue Earth, Minnesota; Morgan Dekan, a junior from Altoona, Wisconsin; Anna Lee, a sophomore from Buffalo, Minnesota; and Sydney Presler, a senior from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The men's team was represented by Ryan Fonseca, a senior from Andover, Minnesota, and Ethan Wurtzel, a senior from Menomonie, Wisconsin.
The College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Men's and Women's Tennis Teams celebrate outstanding student-athletes across various divisions. These include NCAA Division I through III and NAIA. Those who receive Academic All-District honors are eligible for the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Results will be announced on June 4 for women and June 5 for men.
