The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has recognized the achievements of athletes for the week spanning September 30 to October 6. Samantha Fuchs from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire was awarded the title of women's tennis athlete of the week. The decision was made by an anonymous vote among WIAC head coaches.
Fuchs demonstrated significant contributions to her team, the Blugolds, during this period. Competing at No. 1 singles, she achieved victories in straight sets against opponents from UW-La Crosse, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Oshkosh. The Blugolds concluded their WIAC dual season with a record of five wins and one loss.
