The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has recognized Molly Hosack from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as the women's swimming athlete of the week. This announcement was made following an anonymous vote by WIAC head coaches for the period covering October 7 to October 13.

Hosack delivered an impressive performance during the Blugolds' season opener on October 12, contributing to a decisive 166-77 victory over UW-Oshkosh. She achieved first place in two individual events, winning both the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.79 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:15.06. Additionally, she was part of the team that secured second place in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
