The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team concluded its participation in the Golfweek October Classic on Tuesday, finishing 15th out of 24 teams. The event took place over three rounds in Sandestin, Florida.
Nick Amtmann and Ben Pausha both tied for 38th place with a total score of 215 over the three days. Amtmann achieved a score of 69 in the final round. Corey Boerner moved up to 77th place after scoring 70 in the third round, bringing his total to 222. Luke Taebel finished tied for 83rd at 223, while Owen Covey ended in a tie for 88th with a score of 224.
The Blugolds completed the tournament with a team score of 866. The competition included participation from 17 nationally ranked teams, among them No. 20 UW-Eau Claire.
This tournament marked the end of the Blugolds' fall season. They are set to return to action in spring 2025.
