The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the period of September 30 to October 6. Nathan Donovan from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire was named the offensive player of the week through an anonymous vote by WIAC head coaches.
Donovan's performance included a powerful header goal against the University of Dubuque on October 1, followed by an assist. On October 4, he scored both goals in a match against UW-Platteville, leading his team to a 2-0 victory and securing their first WIAC win of the season. Against Simpson College on October 6, Donovan successfully converted a penalty kick in the 28th minute, increasing his season tally to 16 goals, including five from penalties.
