Kodi Fezler Assistant Strength and Sports Performance Coach | UW-Eau Claire Blugolds Website
The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the period of September 9 to 15. Elise Pinewski from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire was named Offensive Player of the Week by an anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches.
Pinewski scored two goals at the North Central College Invitational. On September 13, against Albion College, she opened the scoring in the 13th minute with her first goal of the season. She also contributed two shots on goal during her 45 minutes on the field as UW-Eau Claire outshot Albion 10-2. In a subsequent game against North Central, Pinewski equalized just before halftime with her second goal of the tournament. Her attacking mentality and shooting skills were pivotal to UW-Eau Claire's performance in both matches.
