The countdown to the new school year has begun. Here is essential information for starting the 2024-2025 academic year.

The first day of school for grades 1 through 12 is August 28, 2024. For 4K, it is August 29, and for Kindergarten, it is September 3.

Students at Hudson High School will receive their supply lists from teachers during the initial days of school. Supply lists are also available for Hudson Middle School, EP Rock Elementary School, Houlton Elementary School, Hudson Prairie Elementary School, North Hudson Elementary School, River Crest Elementary School, and Willow River Elementary School.

The Sharing Tree offers free school supplies and backpacks to families in the Hudson School District.

Meet-the-teacher and orientation nights are scheduled as follows:

- Middle School 6th Grade: August 22, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

- Elementary schools: August 26, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM

- Freshmen Student & HHS New Student Orientation: August 26, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

- Middle School 7th & 8th Grade meet-the-teacher night: August 29, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Picture days are set on these dates:

- Hudson High School: August 26th, from noon to 8:00 PM

- Hudson Middle School: August15th (noon to7 :00PM) and August19th (7 :00AMto4 :00PM)

- EP Rock Elementary: September10 th

- HoultonElementary : September25 th
