University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire coaches Dan Schwamberger and Chip Schnieder have announced the hiring of Connor Dolan as an Assistant Coach for the men's and women's cross country and track and field teams.

Prior to his return to UW-Eau Claire, Dolan was an assistant coach at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, CO where he helped the lady Sabercats win the 2023 Garmin RunningLane Cross-Country National Championship and finish runner-ups at the 2023 cross country and 2024 track and field CHSAA 5A State Championships.

"We are excited to have Connor back on campus not only because of his work ethic and passion for the sport, but his caring nature and constant dedication to others," head coach Dan Schwamberger said.

Dolan, a four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track and field at UW-Eau Claire, was a three-time USTFCCCA All-American, a five-time USFTCCCA All-Academic recipient, a nine-time All-WIAC winner, and was named the WIAC Cross Country Max Sparger Scholar Athlete winner in 2020. In addition to his awards, Dolan currently holds the 7th fastest 8k time and 3rd fastest steeplechase time in Blugold history.

The Blugold alum graduated from UWEC with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2022. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Master of Science degree in Chemistry in 2024.
