To My Fellow Eau Claire Residents;

Shock waves are reverberating through Eau Claire and the greater Chippewa Valley as so many people suddenly found out that they lost their job and/or their medical provider through HSHS and/or Prevea. Plus, we are losing a long-standing hospital that provides valuable care for our community. There is uncertainty and worry about what the future holds. My heart goes out to all those impacted in Northwest Wisconsin. Please know that I will do what I can to get information out regarding next steps and where people can go for help. Local leaders are coming together to do what we can to support our community. While I know our community is strong and we will be ok in the end, this is a difficult time for many.
