Description
Our inaugural blood drive in your community is set to take place on Wednesday, March 15th (1:30 pm – 5:30 pm) at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Eau Claire (located at 2708 Thomas Dr.) The Community Blood Center (CBC) is responsible for collecting over 1,000 blood donations each week to fulfill the transfusion needs of patients at over 40 local hospitals, including the two HSHS hospitals.
In order to donate blood, an individual must be 17 years old or older (or 16 with parent or guardian permission), be in good general health, and weigh at least 110 lbs (additional height and weight restrictions apply for donors who are 16-18 years old).
