City of Menomonie recently issued the following announcement.
CITY OF MENOMONIE 2021 FALL YARD WASTE CLEANUP
PICK-UP DATES
Monday – Oct. 18 & 25, Nov. 1 & 8
All Residential YARD WASTE must be:
• Bagged in a compostable bag
• Bundled if brush (may not be picked up every Monday)
• Marked or Tagged "CITY PICKUP"
• Placed curbside no sooner than 1 day before and no later than 7:00 AM on pick up day
• Please only put biodegradable/compostable materials inside the bags
ITEMS WHICH WILL BE PICKED UP:
• Leaves & Grass in compostable bag (50 lbs. max per bag)
• Bundled Brush (not exceeding 4 feet in length)
If your regular garbage collection falls on the same day as the city pickup, please segregate your garbage from the marked or tagged items.
NOTHING WILL BE PICKED UP IN ALLEYS

**Individuals may also deposit yard waste at the city landfill** Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. & Saturday from 7:00 to Noon 232-2411
