Bailey Leeke of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire volleyball team has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance during the week of September 15-21. The announcement was made by the WIAC, which selects its weekly honorees through a vote conducted among conference head coaches and Sports Information Directors.
Leeke contributed significantly to her team's two victories during that week. She recorded a double-double with 15 kills and 12 digs against the College of Saint Benedict (Minnesota). In another match, she tied her career high with 25 kills against UW-Whitewater, which is currently ranked No. 1 nationally. Over the course of these matches, Leeke maintained a hitting percentage of .302 and averaged 4.44 kills per set, 4.94 points per set, and 2.11 digs per set.
