The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire volleyball team has been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for their academic achievements during the 2024 season. The AVCA announced its academic award winners on Monday, and the Blugolds were named to the Team Academic Honor Roll.
The team also received the AVCA's Team Academic Award, which is given to programs that maintain a grade-point average of 3.3 or higher throughout the school year. Teams in the top 20% of their respective divisions are included in the Team Academic Honor Roll.
This recognition marks the 13th consecutive season that the Blugolds have earned the AVCA's Team Academic Award.
