Nine student-athletes from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's cross country and track and field teams have been awarded Academic All-District honors by College Sports Communicators for the 2024-25 season. The recipients include five women and four men, recognized for their academic achievements alongside their athletic performances.
For the women's team, Keeley Behr, Kayla Behnke, Emilee Booker, Emma Gruen, and Teagan Jones received accolades. Representing the men's team were Wes Keller, Mason Shea, Mitch Stegeman, and Adam Strouf.
The Academic All-District Men's Track & Field teams highlight top student-athletes across the nation based on their performance in sports as well as academics. This recognition is part of a broader program by College Sports Communicators that includes separate distinctions for NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA levels.
Among those honored, Behnke, Jones, and Strouf will advance to compete for spots on the Academic All-America teams. The announcement of these teams is scheduled for mid-July.
