Thursday, April 3: Altoona High School standout Abby Smearman’s college team loses to Gannon Golden Knights

On Thursday, April 3, former Altoona High School standout Abby Smearman’s current college team, the Seton Hill Griffins, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Gannon Golden Knights.

The game took place at McConnell Family Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Golden Knights this season.

The Griffins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 2 p.m. at Edinboro Softball Field against Edinboro Fighting Scots.
