On Friday, March 7, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Emmanuel Saints.

The game took place at DiamondPlex Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Saints this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Catherine Softball Field against St. Catherine Wildcats.
