Wednesday, March 5: Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s college team loses to Trine Thunder

On Wednesday, March 5, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Trine Thunder.

The game took place at DiamondPlex Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Thunder this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 10:30 a.m. at DiamondPlex Softball Complex against Benedictine Eagles.
