On Monday, March 3, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Dominican Stars.

The game took place at DiamondPlex Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Stars this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 6:45 p.m. at DiamondPlex Softball Complex against Bluffton Beavers.
