On Sunday, March 2, former Hudson High School standout Avery Johnson’s current college team, the Concordia Golden Bears, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Grand Valley State Lakers.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against California Vulcans.
