Chippewa Falls Parks and Recreation Dept. to host free community Q&A sessions

The Chippewa Falls Parks and Recreation Department has announced a series of free community Q&A sessions aimed at providing information about its services. The department described the events as a "one-of-a-kind opportunity" to learn more, according to a Facebook post dated February 20.

According to the Facebook post, these community events offer a unique chance for attendees to gain up-to-date information and receive real-time answers to their questions.

The upcoming Q&A events include several topics and locations: "Discussing all things Zoo" at the Welcome Center on March 19 at 1 p.m.; "Discussing Forestry" at Kells Corner on April 24 at 1 p.m.; "Discussing inclusive play and new facilities" at Flag Hill Pavilion on May 29 at 3 p.m.; "Discussing all things pool" at BFW Pool on June 26 at 1 p.m.; "Discussing pickleball and tennis" at Marshall Park Senn Courts on July 24 at 9 a.m.; "Discussing all things sports" at Casper Park Pavilion on August 21 at 1 p.m.; and "Discussing all things programs & special events" at Riverfront River St. Pavilion on September 18 at 1 p.m.

The Facebook post advised, "Please make sure to pay attention to the locations, dates, and times," as they vary from event to event.

The Chippewa Falls Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for managing local parks, trails, and recreational programs. It also oversees forestry efforts aimed at preserving natural spaces and promoting outdoor activities for both residents and visitors.
