FOIA Request to Town of Brunswick Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
In our continuous efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Chippewa Valley Times have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for records pertaining to new voter registrations. Specifically, we have asked for a list of voters who registered on November 5, 2024.
As a media organization committed to transparency and public accountability, access to such public records is crucial in fulfilling our professional responsibilities. We believe that the information obtained will aid us in reporting more accurately on the recent election process and voter participation rates.
