The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team excelled at the WIAC Championships held at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Competing against six teams, UW-Eau Claire's top team secured first place with a combined score of 865 over three rounds, while their B team followed closely in second place with 884 strokes.

Nick Amtmann played a pivotal role by tying the program's lowest round record with a score of 66, which also earned him the tournament's lowest individual score. On Sunday, both Blugold squads quickly advanced to the top two positions on the leaderboard. Amtmann led his team with a two-under-par round of 70. Carson Brock and Spencer Lynch contributed scores of 74 each, helping secure first place for Eau Claire's first team with 293 strokes. The second team achieved second place after scoring a total of 294 strokes, led by Ryan Jamieson's round of 72.

During the second round, the Blugolds extended their lead with scores of 282 and 299. Carson Brock posted a low round of 67, while Spencer Lynch maintained consistent performance with a score of 70. Ben Pausha finished one under par with a round of 71. For the B team, Griffin Oberneder recorded a low score of 71.

In the final round, UWEC maintained its lead over third-place competitors. Nick Amtmann made history by sinking a birdie putt on the final hole to tie the program's record low round of 66 strokes and claimed first place individually. Carson Brock secured third place overall with a final round score of 75, followed by Spencer Lynch in fourth place with a score of 73. Corey Boerner tied for fifth place after finishing two under par with a score of 70.

The Blugolds will conclude their regular season schedule on May 5 in Blaine, Minnesota at the Bethel Quadrangular.
