The upcoming City Council meetings on April 8th and April 9th, 2024, present opportunities for public engagement and participation. In light of this, the City Council has provided avenues for community members to share their opinions and stay informed on agenda items.

According to a statement released on April 4, 2024, individuals who are unable to attend the meetings in person or prefer not to speak directly to the Council members have the option to utilize the Electronic Comment Form. The form allows residents to express their views on specific agenda items, ensuring that their voices are heard even if they cannot be physically present at the meeting.

In addition, the City Council has made provisions for members of the public to view the meetings online through the City's Meetings page at www.EauClaireWI.gov/Meetings. A link will be made available shortly before the start of each meeting, offering a convenient way for residents to stay informed about the proceedings.

However, it is important to note that online viewing is for observation purposes only. For those who wish to actively participate in the meetings, it is necessary to attend in person. As stated, "Please Note: this is for viewing purposes ONLY. Those who wish to participate must appear in-person."

The City Council encourages community members to take advantage of these opportunities for engagement and participation in local governance. By providing various channels for public input, the Council aims to foster transparency, inclusivity, and collaboration in decision-making processes.
