The upcoming City Council meeting scheduled for 3/25/2024 and 3/26/2024 provides an opportunity for community members to engage with the Council without needing to be physically present. According to a statement released on Mar 21 2024, individuals who are unable to attend or prefer not to speak during the meeting can still express their opinions on agenda items by utilizing the Electronic Comment Form.

"If you are unable to attend the next City Council meeting, or do not wish to speak at the meeting, but wish to let Council Members know how you feel on a particular agenda item, you can use the Electronic Comment Form."

For those interested in observing the proceedings, the City offers an online viewing option through the Meetings page on www.EauClaireWI.gov/Meetings. However, it is important to note that online viewing is for observation purposes only.

"Members of the public who wish to view the meeting online may do so through the City’s Meetings page at www.EauClaireWI.gov/Meetings. A link to view the meeting will appear shortly before the start of each meeting. Please Note: this is for viewing purposes ONLY. Those who wish to participate must appear in-person."

This alternative method of participation aims to make the City Council meetings more accessible to the public while still maintaining the requirement for active participation to be done in person.
