Thanks to a relatively mild fall, the Green Waste Facility located at 5710 Jeffers Road is able to extend its operating season for an additional week, Eau Claire residents will be able to dispose of brush, grass clippings, and leaves through Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
For the remainder of the regular season (through November 15) hours of operation will be:
Saturday, November 11 from 8 am – 3pm
Monday, November 13 from 10am – 6 pm
Wednesday, November 15 from 10 am – 6 pm
During the additional week of service, the site will have slightly modified hours of operation:
Saturday, November 18 from 8 am – 3 pm
Monday, November 20 from 8 am – 3 pm
Wednesday, November 22 from 8 am - 3 pm (last day)
At the facility, credit card or checks are accepted (no cash). Season passes will be honored. For further details on rates and acceptable items, please visit EauClaireWI.gov/Brush
The Green Waste Facility will reopen in December for the Merry Mulch Christmas Tree Recycling Program.
