The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team secured a sweep against Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. The Blugolds won all doubles and singles matches during the meet.
In doubles play, Olivia Herzog and Beatriz Felchak claimed victory in the No. 1 match with a score of 6-4. Reese Burton and Delaney Hanson won the No. 2 match 6-3, while Morgan Briggman and Stella Platt finished doubles play with a 6-4 win.
During singles competition, Herzog, Felchak, and Burton each earned wins following their doubles performances. Aubrey Wittwer took the No. 4 singles match 6-1, 6-0; Ana Paula Ricaurte won at No. 5 singles with scores of 6-1, 6-1; and Kiera Schmid completed the sweep by winning her match 6-2, 6-1.
The Blugolds are scheduled to compete next at Stevens Point against the Pointers on Friday, October 3 at 3 p.m.
