UW-Eau Claire women’s golf finishes third at home invitational

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team hosted the Blugold Georgianni Invite over the weekend, finishing third among seven teams. The event took place on their home course in Eau Claire.

Lily Kaminski led the Blugolds with a fourth-place individual finish, recording three birdies and 15 pars over two rounds. She posted scores of 85 and 80, ending the tournament at +22 over par. Tally Schlindwein followed closely, securing sixth place with a score of +24 over par. Elizabeth Hermann finished 11th and Riane Hayden placed 23rd, contributing to the team's overall result.

A second UW-Eau Claire team participated as well, placing sixth. Emily Utter, Bailey Eddicus, and Bri Novak all finished within the top 25 competitors out of a field of 36.

The Blugolds will compete next at the D3 Classic in Hastings, Minnesota. The opening round at Emerald Greens Golf Club is set for Saturday, September 13 at 1 p.m.
