On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves.

The game took place at Maverick All-Sports Dome. This was their first matchup against the Prairie Wolves this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at Maverick All-Sports Dome against Minnesota Morris Cougars.
