On Thursday, March 6, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Eastern Eagles.

The game took place at DiamondPlex Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 4:05 p.m. at DiamondPlex Softball Complex against Concordia Wisconsin Falcons.
