On Thursday, March 6, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Moravian Greyhounds.

The game took place at DiamondPlex Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Greyhounds this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 4:15 p.m. at DiamondPlex Softball Complex against Eastern Eagles.
