On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Northwestern - St. Paul Eagles.

The game took place at Maverick All-Sports Dome. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Maverick All-Sports Dome against Bethany Lutheran Vikings.
