Elliott Bessen, a former Eau Claire North High School athlete and now a member of the UW-Platteville Pioneers, is set to compete in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
UW-Platteville opens the tournament against the Otterbein Cardinals.
The first-round game is scheduled for Friday, March 6 at 4:40 p.m. at Gerald Ratner Athletics Center.
