The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire cross country teams have released their schedule for the 2025 season. The Blugolds will host two regular-season home races and the NCAA North Regional race for the second time in three years.
The season begins with the annual Alumni Open at City Wells course on Saturday, September 6th. After a break, they will compete in the St. Olaf Invitational in Northfield, Minnesota. The men’s 8k starts at 10 a.m., followed by the women’s race at 11 a.m.
During Homecoming Weekend, the Blugold Invite will take place on Friday, October 3rd at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wisconsin. Men’s and women’s races are scheduled for 4:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m., respectively. Later that month, they will participate in the Augustana Interregional Invitational at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois on Saturday, October 18th.
Postseason events begin with the WIAC Championships hosted by UW-Oshkosh on November 1st at Moore’s Field of Dreams in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Races are set for noon and 1 p.m. The Luther Saga Cup follows on November 7th in Decorah, Iowa.
UW-Eau Claire will host the NCAA North Regional races on November 15th at Whitetail Golf Course with men’s and women’s races starting at noon and 1 p.m., respectively. The NCAA Championship is scheduled for November 22nd at Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
