The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire baseball team has announced changes to its opening series schedule against Simpson College due to the possibility of bad weather.
Originally, the Blugolds were set to play a doubleheader with Simpson College on February 28 and a single game on March 1. The revised schedule moves the doubleheader to Friday, February 27, with the first game starting at 2:00 PM. The single game is now planned for Saturday, February 28, at 1:00 PM.
The location for these games remains undecided as field conditions are still being evaluated.

The athletics department oversees more than two dozen varsity sports teams for men and women, utilizing various facilities for their programs. Since its inception, the program has recognized 271 athletes, coaches, and administrators in its Hall of Fame.
