UW-Eau Claire baseball changes weekend schedule due to weather concerns

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire baseball team announced on April 10 changes to its upcoming series against UW-Whitewater because of possible bad weather and field conditions.

The schedule change is important for fans, players, and the local community who follow the Blugolds. The original doubleheaders were set for Saturday, April 11 at 1:00 PM and Sunday, April 12 at noon. Now, Saturday’s games will begin earlier at 10:00 AM at Carson Park. Sunday’s games are moved to Monday, April 13 starting at noon, also at Carson Park.

According to the official website, the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds serve both the campus and surrounding community through statewide collegiate athletics. The Blugolds use various on-campus and off-campus facilities for their twenty-five intercollegiate teams according to the official website.

The UW-Eau Claire Blugolds have honored a total of 271 athletes, coaches, and administrators in their Hall of Fame since it began according to the official website. The athletic program operates under the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire athletics department according to the official website.
