Spring 2026 commencement scheduled May 16 for more than 1,000 graduates

The University of Wisconsin-Stout will hold its spring commencement ceremonies for 1,067 graduates on May 16. The event will take place at Johnson Fieldhouse and is divided into three ceremonies throughout the day: the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Management at 9:30 a.m., the College of Arts & Human Sciences at 1:30 p.m., and Graduate Studies at 5 p.m.

This graduation marks an important milestone for both undergraduate and graduate students as they complete their studies. The ceremonies can be viewed via livestream on the UW-Stout commencement website or in person at the Memorial Student Center.

Provost Glendalí Rodríguez will host all three events. Chancellor Katherine Frank will deliver remarks to graduates and officially confer degrees. Bryan Albrecht, an educator who has received a lifetime achievement award from the Wisconsin Association for Career and Technical Education as well as UW-Stout’s Distinguished Alumni Award, will serve as guest alum speaker at each ceremony.

Three graduating students have been selected to address their peers: Noah Rosenberger from Sauk Rapids, Minnesota (B.S. hotel, restaurant and tourism management), Sumnima Devkota from Kathmandu, Nepal (B.S. psychology), and Cory Bloomer from Stevens Point (M.S. risk control and safety management). Music during the ceremonies will be performed by an octet of choir members directed by Jean Enyeart.

The University of Wisconsin-Stout features modern labs, studios, and industry-linked spaces to enhance practical learning according to the official website.
