Senator Julian Bradley, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 28th Senate district since 2021, used his Twitter account on March 19, 2026, to highlight legislative initiatives and criticize Governor Evers’ use of the veto pen.
In one post dated March 19, 2026, Bradley stated: “SJR 116: Stop the 400-Year Veto
Governor Evers used a veto pen to raise your taxes for 400 years. No Governor should have that power – and this constitutional amendment would guarantee it won’t happen again. It’s headed to your ballot this November.”
On the same day, he also addressed immigration enforcement measures in another tweet: “AB 24: Lawful Presence
Illegal immigrants who commit felonies don’t belong on our streets. This bill ensures sheriffs cooperate with federal immigration officials so dangerous criminals aren’t released back into our communities.”
Additionally, Bradley summarized recent legislative activity in a separate post from March 19, writing: “On Tuesday, the Senate passed several bills I’ve been working on that will make Wisconsin safer, government more accountable, and living more affordable. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights. https://t.co/J3EhwxVRwi”
Bradley succeeded Dave Craig as state senator after being elected in 2021.
