University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Paige Lathrop has been honored with the 2025 NCAA Division III Rawlings Gold Glove Award. The announcement was made by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Thursday.

Lathrop, a junior from South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, excelled in left field with a flawless fielding record. She handled 54 chances without error, achieving 52 putouts and two assists, and played a role in one double play.

The NFCA selected the award recipients through its NCAA Division III All-America Committee. The committee consists of ten regional representatives who conducted regional voting to identify finalists for each position. They evaluated fielding statistics and school-submitted videos to determine winners at all defensive positions.

Eligibility for this accolade required student-athletes to compete in the current championship year and be nominated by their head coach, who must be an NFCA member in good standing.
