On Saturday, March 14, Peyton Rogers, a former Chippewa Falls High School star, helped his current college team, the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, secure a 64-62 win over the Washburn Ichabods in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at Lee Arena at 5:30 p.m., marked the teams’ first meeting in tournament play.
The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs are scheduled to play again on Sunday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m. at Lee Arena.
