On Saturday, April 19, former New Richmond High School standout James Schutte’s current college team, the UW Eau Claire Blugolds, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the UW La Crosse Eagles.
The game took place at Copeland Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Blugolds’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 12 p.m. at Carson Park against UW – Stevens Point Pointers.
