Four UW-Eau Claire tennis players earn CSC Academic All-District honors

Four members of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s tennis team have been recognized for their academic and athletic achievements. Ethan Leeser, Andrew Mueller, Sam Murillo, and Ethan Wurtzel were named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams.

This honor is a first for Leeser, Mueller, and Murillo. Wurtzel has now received this recognition twice in his career. The selection process considers student-athletes’ performance both academically and athletically.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams are chosen by College Sports Communicators. These teams highlight student-athletes who excel in both their sport and studies. To be eligible, nominees must meet specific grade point average and competition criteria.
