The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s softball team has achieved a notable academic accolade, with five of its student-athletes being named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Teams. This announcement was made on Tuesday.

The athletes recognized include Paige Lathrop from South Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Molly Marquardt from Manhattan, Illinois; Megan Patterson from Johnsburg, Illinois; Jacie Schultz from Lake Crystal, Minnesota; and Kenna Strunsee from Waukesha, Wisconsin. Notably, this is the third time Strunsee has received this honor. Lathrop and Patterson are both second-time recipients, while Marquardt and Schultz have been recognized for the first time.

The CSC Academic All-District Softball Teams acknowledge top student-athletes nationwide for their combined performance in athletics and academics. The CSC Academic All-America program further distinguishes honorees across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
