On Friday, March 13, Ferris State Bulldogs, including former Altoona High School standout Alyssa Wirth, were defeated 70-59 by the UMSL Tritons in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The game tipped off at 2:30 p.m. at GVSU Fieldhouse and marked the team’s first contest against the UMSL Tritons in tournament play.
