The City Council of Eau Claire has approved a renovation project for Carson Park Baseball Stadium. The plan includes installing turf on the field, upgrading dugouts, improving seating, and enhancing amenities for fans.

UW-Eau Claire Athletics and Blugold Baseball are working with the City of Eau Claire and the Eau Claire Express to address challenges, finalize costs, and set a timeline for the installation. According to those involved, these renovations will allow UW-Eau Claire to use Carson Park more often and may provide a competitive advantage.

“This project marks a pivotal moment in Blugold Baseball history, giving UWEC greater flexibility to utilize Carson Park more frequently—not just for convenience, but as a true competitive advantage,” stated representatives from UW-Eau Claire Athletics.

A full list of improvements is available from the City of Eau Claire.
