Chippewa County had one gas station selling E15 gas at the lowest price of $2.71 per gallon during the week ending Mar. 7, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, E15 gas averaged $2.92 per gallon.
Chippewa County had four of 38 reported gas stations offering E15 gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of E15 gas in Wisconsin was $2.89, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
